Lal Tibba is the highest pick in Mussourie which is located at an altitude more than 2,290 meters, above the sea level. After Lal Tibba, the second highest peak of this town is Gun Hill that has an interesting story for its name. During the colonial rule, cannons were fired from this spot to tell the people what time it is; hence, its name Gun Hill. It is situated at 2,024 meters above sea level.
